History
Corissa “Ris” Davis is a graduate of The University of Tennessee Knoxville where he completed a degree in Child and Family Studies in 2018. After graduating from UT Knoxville, Ris began work at a nonprofit organization where his mission was rooted in serving both children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Ris attended The University of Memphis School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. Since completing his degree, Ris has been a practicing attorney in several fields of law, most notably, Family Law and Personal Injury Law. In addition to his license here in Washington, Ris is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Alabama.
Passion
Corissa made the decision to enter into the legal field because he has a passion for the work and for the potential he has in this position to assist clients in need. He understands that navigating the legal system can, at times, be a difficult and tiresome process for some people.
He will strive to create a safe and inclusive space in the community around him for people who are seeking compassionate and empathetic representation in their darkest and toughest hours. Corissa endeavors to be a fierce supporter and encouraging presence to clients and to tirelessly advocate for the best interests of the persons seeking his assistance.
