History
G. Bushra Rahim was born in India but grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She has a diverse legal background, representing clients in criminal, personal injury, employment, family law, medical malpractice, and estate planning matters.
During her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, G. Bushra Rahim interned with the Washington State Legislature, working alongside House Representative Cody on a healthcare bill. She completed her law school education in Arizona, where she served as ABA Lieutenant Governor and volunteered with the Justice Project and Homeless Court. In her final year of law school, she published an article for the Psychology and Law Journal.
Passion
An active member of the legal community, G. Bushra Rahim has served on the board of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington (SABAW) and currently chairs the legal clinic while mentoring in the Joint Minority Mentorship Program. She has also partnered with community-based organizations such as API Chaya, the Sexual Violence Law Center, and the Muslim Association of Puget Sound to provide pro bono legal services. Additional volunteer work includes supporting the Washington Initiative for Diversity, and she currently serves on the WSBA Wellness Taskforce.
As a former boxer, G. Bushra Rahim brings the same tenacity and determination to the courtroom as she did to the ring. Committed to advocating for her clients, she ensures they are empowered with the proper legal recourse and receive the justice they deserve.
